Weathering

Palms that are not planted in their optimal position may suffer from environmental damage. Mostly this damage is purely aesthetic and often the plant is in the early stages of acclimatisation and the palm will strengthen with time.

However on other occasions the palm may be completely unsuitable in the chosen environment and it will continue to struggle to survive. Some examples of weathering are as follows;
